Artificial Intelligence Is Modernizing Policing
Policing results in lots of data. It’s too much for supervisors to sift through without help. Arx uses Artificial Intelligence to find the anomalies supervisors care about so they can better manage accountability.
DEFINITION
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence is a broad term that means that computers are being used to perform tasks that would normally require human intelligence. Under that definition, Arx uses technology in our products called machine learning. Machine Learning is using computers to learn and adapt without following explicit instructions by using algorithms and statistical models to analyze and draw inferences from patterns in data. In layman’s terms, this refers to a smart way to analyze the data created in policing to find the outlier behavior that could be indicative of an issue.

How Arx Uses Artificial Intelligence
Arx leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze the large data sets policing generates and detect anomalies to alert supervisors to investigate further. Our proprietary models get smarter over time and help supervisors stay on top of the officer and team accountability.

BENEFITS
Artificial Intelligence is Changing Policing
Thanks to AI and machine learning, Arx can analyze police data far beyond what traditional systems can do. And smarter systems mean smarter policing. Supervisors can lead with confidence knowing they will get early warning of issues. It’s creating a modern-day police force where data can be intelligently used to improve officer accountability and community trust.
- Saves supervisor’s time
- Modernizes officer management
- Provides early alerting of risky behavior
- Improves officer accountability
